  19. Kaleido is a colour icon editor for the Atari Falcon computer and works in 
  20. RGB (TV) or VGA.

  22. Kaleido will only work in 256 colours with a resolution of 320*200 or 320*240

  68. The Execution of Kaleido is extremely simple.
  69.  
  70. When the program is double clicked the program will display the file selector
  71. and ask you to select the deskicon file which you would like to edit 
  72. ( normal DESKICON.RSC or the Multitos Rsc file DESKCICN.RSC ).

  74. The the conputer asks which colour palette you would like ( Atari defaults or
  75. your current colour setup ).
  76.  
  77. The program will the load the Rsc file and enter the editing grid.
  78.  
  79. Most icons are self-explanatary and activated purely by clicking on them.
  80.  
  81. On line help is available by pressing function key F1 or HELP. The mouse will
  82. change into a question mark and the editing grid will become a help window.
  83. Whilst in help mode click on areas of the screen/buttons and the computer will
  84. explain the relevent functions or display.

  86. To exit Help mode click the right button.

  88. Please note that all buttons and functions are disabled during help mode so
  89. to display help on other button panels. Select the button panel as normal and
  90. then press HELP.

  94. Warning:-    Gem buffers all icons in memory and the default value allows
  95.         for up to 72 icons. Any more than this requires a Gem patch.

  97.         All desktop functions become unreliable if this limit is
  98.         exceeded.
